Nursing School and College education Gopala Gowda Shanthaveri Memorial Hospital having felt the need for skilled and Hi-tech Nursing care required for patient care, decided to establish a School of Nursing. The recognition of the Karnataka Nursing Council and approval of the Government of Karnataka having been obtained, the School of Nursing has started functioning from 1996. Subsequently, Indian Nursing Council accredited the nursing school and granted recognition. To meet the increasing demand for graduate nurses in India and Abroad, the management decided to start collegiate level of nursing program and requested the Government of Karnataka and Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka, Bangalore, to accord permission and the same was granted in September 2002.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission
Candidate seeking admission should have
The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
Minimum education:
10+2 class passed with Science (PCB) & English Core/English Elective with aggregate of 45% marks from recognized board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board.
Student shall be medically fit.
Students appearing in 10+2 examination in Science conducted by National Institute of Open School with 45% marks.
Student shall be admitted once in a year.
Migration certificate if candidate is from outside Karnataka State
